being vulnerable in a violent world                                               being great in being small

(my first self-portrait was overpainted after 1 week)                       when I portray a child playing, I play

and when the child was killed by the police,                             I use a lot of black for the background

I love black paint because I love light                          black makes it possible for any colour to shine

 

I hope to touch people with the beauty and tenderness               of people in the midst of cruelty and despair

I hope to touch people with the honest gaze of simple people                           or the strength of nature

                                                  

We did not choose the colour of concrete and brickE                                            Easy money did

bring back the colours we love                                                   return art to the people
